Polytan Sports Surfaces Limited, based in Loughborough in Leicestershire, has been installing synthetic sports surfaces in the UK since 1991. We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Polytan Sportstattenbau GmbH, based in Burgheim, Germany. Since its inception, the company has been awarded a large number of athletic track and synthetic turf contracts throughout the UK and Ireland. One of the earliest projects was the resurfacing of the athletics track at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre for the Sports Council in 1993 and again in 2004 for Sport England. We also resurfaced the track at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.
polytan was also awarded the contract to build one of the first Football Academy synthetic turf pitches for Liverpool F.C.
